Event invitation
An invitation page for a private celebration: countdown, map, add-to-calendar and an RSVP form guests could fill in on their phone.

The goal
One link that guests could open on their phone to see when and where the party was, tell the host whether they were coming, and add the date to their calendar.
What I built
A countdown to the event, a one-tap link to the map, and a button that downloads a calendar file so the date lands in any calendar app. The RSVP form submits without leaving the page and has a hidden field that filters out spam bots. A link to a shared album lets guests add their own photos and videos.
The headline animates in and a little confetti falls when the page opens. Both switch off for visitors who have asked their device for reduced motion. The layout adapts from phone to desktop.
About these screenshots
This was made for a private event, so the guest of honour’s name and the venue are blurred. The countdown is shown as it ran before the event.
